I needed something to lock up my long guns in an area where I didn't have much room. This does the job. The quality is good enough, but for the price, I expected a little bit more heft. All the same, I'm happy to have been able to buy it at the Amazon price, because there's no way I'd pay list price (nearly twice as much) for it. I can get an actual safe for that much.
