I bought this ladder for its online city friendly appearance. Thanks to the other Amazon reviews, I trust I made the right decision. My previous place had 12' ceiling and my current place has 10's ceilings, but I have no access to a garage to store a ladder. So that fact that this things folds up and could even double as furniture (plant holder?), has been very useful. Reshaping it is relatively easy its not so heavy that is unwieldy to actually make that happen. I weight 160 and even at that it creeks and cracks a lot, but it doesn't feel unsafe. If you're up on this things for more than a minute it can really start to make the middle part of your feet hurt, (as the rungs are fairly narrow), I would say that is its biggest draw back and if you're looking for a ladder that you are going to be on a lot, you might want to keep looking. The shipping took awhile, but I also scored free shipping, which I am sure would have cost a pretty penny otherwise. I would definitely buy this again.
