This light rocks - bright, predictable, nicely made and AA batteries! I'm so happy this was my first purchase of a bright light. It has set my standards very high. Too high I'm afraid.

TK40 rules - you will be happy - though the lanyard is a bit confusing and the shoulder strap has monstrous (big) metal claps that are too big and scratchy. Fenix could scale these down. Instead of the lanyard - a small strap like in the TK30 but a little bigger loop would be nice. But I'm being picky. Like everyone else I love my TK40
